There’s nothing I love more than curling up on the couch, snacks within arm’s reach (because let’s be real, a binge session without snacks is just sad), and diving into a good binge-worthy show that I can get completely lost in. For me, it’s more than just entertainment—it’s basically therapy with popcorn, a mini-vacation for my brain, and sometimes even a chance to ugly-cry at things I didn’t know I cared about. Whether I’m laughing so hard I snort at a hilarious scene, tearing up like it’s an emotional Olympic sport, or holding my breath like my life depends on it, these shows never fail to pull me in. Over the years, I’ve discovered some favorites that I keep coming back to, the ones that stick in my head long after the credits roll and occasionally make me shout at my TV like it owes me an explanation. So, without further ado, here’s my personal list of my top ten binge-worthy shows that I absolutely adore—and I think you might too (snacks strongly encouraged).

1. Grey’s Anatomy

I’ve been watching Grey’s forever, and it’s basically my unofficial life coach—teaching me that love is messy, friendships are complicated, and if someone says “stat!” you probably shouldn’t argue. I cry, I scream at the characters, and sometimes I even secretly wish I could get a romantic surgery montage like Meredith.

2. Virgin River

Virgin River is my escape to a tiny town with way too many secrets. I’m obsessed with the romance, the drama, and the fact that everyone somehow ends up having an emotional epiphany in a coffee shop. Honestly, if I lived there, I’d probably be the person spilling my own dramatic secrets in the middle of Main Street.

3. Doc

Doc sneaks up on you emotionally. I laugh, I cry, and sometimes I even pause to give the characters pep talks through my TV. It’s like watching a heartwarming life lesson unfold with a sprinkle of “why is this show making me cry at 9 PM?”

4. Sullivan’s Crossing

Sullivan’s Crossing is my cozy small-town obsession. I love imagining myself in that town, living my best dramatic-romantic life, and definitely having a pet dog that saves the day. It’s like Hallmark and suspense had a baby, and I’m here for it.

5. The Hunting Wives

I watch this show like it’s a guilty pleasure, screaming at the TV every five minutes. Secrets, lies, and scandal? Yes, please. It’s messy, it’s dramatic, and honestly, it makes me feel better about my own life decisions because at least I’m not plotting a murder… yet.

6. Stranger Things

Stranger Things is my ultimate thrill ride. I’m obsessed with the suspense, the friendship vibes, and the 80s nostalgia. Every time something jumps out at me, I scream and hide under my blanket like Eleven is about to appear in my living room. I also low-key want a bike gang with my own group of friends fighting monsters.

7. Bridgerton

Bridgerton makes me swoon, roll my eyes, and imagine myself in a scandalous, corseted version of my life. I love the romance, the drama, and the fact that everyone talks like they have a permanent eyebrow raise. It’s fancy, it’s chaotic, and I live for it.

8. You

I shouldn’t like Joe Goldberg, but I do. Watching him is like eating chocolate cake for breakfast—you know it’s bad for you, but you can’t resist. I’m simultaneously terrified and hooked, and I spend most of the episodes yelling “Don’t do it, Joe!” at my TV like it will listen. Spoiler: it never does.

9. Wednesday

Wednesday Addams is basically me, but goth and way more dramatic. I relate to her dry humor, love of sarcasm, and general disdain for the world. Watching this show makes me feel seen, validated, and oddly motivated to embrace my own inner dark side.

10. Heartland

Heartland is the ultimate comfort show. Horses, family drama, and wholesome chaos make me want to pack my bags and move to a ranch immediately. I cry, I laugh, and sometimes I silently judge myself for not having a perfect horse whispering life lessons to me too.

✨ These shows to me aren’t just entertainment—they’re basically little slices of my life. They make me laugh so hard I snort, cry like I’m at a family reunion, and sometimes even sit on the edge of my couch holding my breath like I’m personally involved in the drama. Each one teaches me something—whether it’s about love, friendship, survival, or just how to properly avoid a cliffhanger-induced meltdown—or simply gives me pure joy. Honestly, some of these shows have become my unofficial life coaches, my therapy sessions, and my excuse to ignore my responsibilities all at once.

If you haven’t watched some of these yet, consider this your official, totally serious, can’t-ignore-it-anymore sign to start. And if you have, we absolutely need to talk about our favorite moments—because I could literally go on and on about these shows forever, and probably will if someone doesn’t stop me. Bonus points if you’ve also laughed, cried, or shouted at the TV like I do—it’s basically a prerequisite for being a true fan in my book!
